Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Kennedy!
Ninety-six days.
That’s how long Kennedy waited in a shelter, wondering if anyone would ever choose him.
Like so many wonderful dogs, Kennedy arrived as a stray with no collar, no microchip, and no one ever came looking for him. Despite that, he never let his spirit fade. He became a shelter favorite, winning over staff and volunteers with his affectionate personality, happy demeanor, and love for life. He was chosen for Dog Day Out adventures, where he showed everyone what an incredible companion he is. He loves car rides, lives for fetch, adores his toys, and gets along well with other dogs.
After 96 days of waiting, we knew Kennedy deserved better. We couldn’t let him spend another day wondering if his family was out there.
Since joining Labradors and Friends, Kennedy has continued to steal hearts. He’s dog friendly, enjoys walking with his canine buddies, and has never met a tennis ball he didn’t love. In fact, he’ll proudly carry one for an entire walk if given the chance. He’s done wonderfully meeting new people—including children—and has quickly become a volunteer favorite.
Now Kennedy has just one thing left on his wish list: a family of his own.
Whether you’re looking to foster or adopt, Kennedy is ready to trade his kennel for a couch, his lonely nights for a loving home, and his dreams of a family for the real thing.
If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Kennedy, please fill out an application at www.labradorsandfriends.org .
Kennedy is located in Southern California.
100% of your donation will go to help save a pet's life. Of course, saving a pet's life will cost more than $5, but if 50 people give just $5, a life can be saved.
When you give through a lot of the large charities, 35-60% of your money goes for fundraising, advertising, overhead, etc. Your small donation can really be effective here since it will all go to help save an animal's life. Of course you can give more, but why not donate the cost of a sandwich to help save a life. Offer A Paw, Inc. is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of animals.
